OXYGEN MEDIA APPOINTS JORDANA HOCHMAN VICE PRESIDENT, PRODUCTION
NEW YORK -- January 26, 2012 - Oxygen Media has named Jordana Hochman to the position of Vice President, Production. In this role, Hochman will serve as executive producer on key series and be liaison to the marketing, communications, advertising sales and digital teams for those projects. She will act as main point of contact between the network and external producers and will manage all production related details including budget and production planning. Hochman is currently overseeing the second season of New Jersey based reality series "Jersey Couture," which premieres on Oxygen in February, and will be attached to other series in development. She will report to Teri Kennedy, Vice President, Current Production and will be based in Oxygen's New York office.
Before joining Oxygen, Hochman was Director, Non-fiction and Alternative Programming at A&E, where she developed and oversaw production for both A&E and BIO channel including such series as "Obsessed," "Fugitive Chronicles," "Intervention," "Bordertown: Laredo" and "Celebrity Ghost Stories." Earlier in her career she was supervising producer on MTV's "Made" and VH1's "The Fabulous Life." She also held director and producer roles on MTV's "Diary" and "True Life."
Hochman graduated with a degree in English Literature from McGill University. She resides in New York.
