"LIVE! WITH KELLY" UNVEILS NEW SET THE WEEK OF APRIL 9, 2012, AND CELEBRATES WITH "HOUSE DJ WEEK"

Joining in the Celebration Are Co-Hosts Howie Mandel, Carson Kressley and Joel McHale

NEW YORK, NY - March 28, 2012 - On April 9, 2012, "LIVE! with Kelly" host Kelly Ripa will unveil "LIVE's" brand-new set and kick off a week of celebration, highlighted by "House DJ Week" - five of the top DJs in the country stopping by to spin some tunes and rock "LIVE's" new home.

The new set is the most extensive update to the show's studio since its 1988 debut in national syndication. The set has the feel of a contemporary downtown-style loft, spacious and yet maintaining the studio's warmth and intimacy. With earthy and textured materials such as wood and stone finishes and a 20-foot-tall stacked stone tile wall backing the main staircase, the space features a warm golden palette accentuated by punches of color. Other additions include more production spaces for performances and demo segments, and an updated lighting system with state-of-the-art LED fixtures.

Monday, April 9, 2012 - Kelly and co-host Howie Mandel get the party started by giving viewers their first look at "LIVE's" stylish new digs. Kicking off "House DJ Week" is Samantha Ronson, arguably the best-known and most iconic DJ on the scene today. Ronson also is a singer-songwriter whose latest album, "Chasing the Reds," was released in Fall, 2011. Monday's guests are "Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara and L.A. Reid from "X Factor," plus the latest eliminated contestant from "American Idol" performs.

Tuesday, April 10, 2012 - Howie Mandel returns as guest co-host. Kelly and Howie welcome "Jersey Shore" star DJ Pauly D, who has parlayed his fame from the MTV reality show into a red-hot DJ career and his own spin-off show, "The Pauly D Project." Also making guest appearances on Tuesday are Christina Applegate from the NBC series "Up All Night" and Oscar(R)-nominated actress Gabourey Sidibe from "The Big C."

Wednesday, April 11, 2012 - Joining Kelly at the co-host desk is style maven Carson Kressley. Wednesday's House DJ is the favorite of President Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Jay Z and Beyonce -- DJ Cassidy, whose ability to blend musical genres electrifies audiences wherever he mans the tables. Also visiting is actress Cheryl Hines from ABC's "Suburgatory," and recording artists Monica and Brandy perform their latest duet, "It All Belongs to Me."

Thursday, April 12, 2012 -- Making his guest co-host debut is "Community" star Joel McHale. New York native DJ Chrissie Miller, a regular fixture during New York's Fashion Week and the owner/designer of Sophomore Clothing, will provide the soundtrack as "The Big C" star Laura Linney and actor Bradley Whitford from the new horror film, "The Cabin in the Woods," sit down to chat with Kelly and Joel.

Friday, April 13, 2012 - Kelly and Joel McHale team up again as co-hosts. "House DJ Week" wraps up with DJ Twist, a New York-based veteran of the turntables who has been the go-to DJ for performances and events throughout the country for more than a decade. Friday's guest lineup includes "Mad Men" star John Slattery.

"LIVE! with Kelly" is distributed in national syndication by Disney-ABC Domestic Television.
