Comedy Bang! Bang! LIVE! is in support of Comedy Bang! Bang! which airs Friday nights at 10pm ET/PT on IFC. Cleverly riffing on the well-known format of the late night talk show and based on Scott Aukerman's popular podcast of the same name, Comedy Bang! Bang! infuses celebrity appearances and comedy sketches with a tinge of the surreal, as if Fernwood Tonight had Hollywood's A-list of the day and mixed in the dream sequences and talking inanimate objects of Pee-Wee's Playhouse. In each episode, Aukerman engages his guests with unfiltered and improvisational lines of questioning, punctuated by banter and beats provided by musical cohort Reggie Watts (Conan), to reinvent the traditional celebrity interview. Packed with character cameos, filmic shorts, sketches, games, abrupt dream sequence detours and talking set pieces, Comedy Bang! Bang! delivers thirty minutes of absurd laugh-loaded fun featuring some of the biggest names in comedy.

Elizabeth Banks (The Hunger Games), Michael Cera (Arrested Development), Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover), Jon Hamm (Mad Men), Ed Helms (The Office), Amy Poehler (Parks and Recreation), Seth Rogen (50/50), Paul Rudd (I Love You, Man), Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation) and "Weird Al" Yankovic (comedian/musician) all sit down on the couch with Aukerman on IFC's Comedy Bang! Bang! to discuss everything from their hair and recent vacations to their love of mime and their ability to make animal noises. Other guests this season include Will Arnett (Up All Night), David Cross (Arrested Development), Tenacious D (Jack Black & Kyle Gass), Will Forte (SNL), Topher Grace (Valentine's Day, Spiderman 3), Colin Hanks (Dexter), Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite), Tim Heidecker (Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!), Gillian Jacobs (Community), Nick Kroll (The League), Thomas Lennon (Reno 911!), Bob Odenkirk (Breaking Bad), Patton Oswalt (Young Adult), Chris Parnell (Archer), Andy Richter (Conan), Paul F. Tompkins (Mr. Show with Bob and David) and many more.
