NEW COMEDIC REALITY SERIES "WAKEBROTHERS" SET TO DEBUT TWO BACK-TO-BACK EPISODES ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 25, STARTING AT 11:00 PM ET/PT ON MTV

Beginning Tuesday, July 17, the First Episode of "WakeBrothers" Will be Available to Stream on MTV.com and Download Free on iTunes

Santa Monica, CA (July 16, 2012) - MTV today announced that new comedic reality series "WakeBrothers," which follows both the personal and professional lives of wakeboarding sibling superstars Phil and Bob Soven, will premiere with two back-to-back episodes on Wednesday, July 25 beginning at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT. For fans who can't wait until then, the first episode will be available to stream on MTV.com and download for free on iTunes (www.iTunes.com) starting Tuesday, July 17 until the Wednesday, July 25 premiere on MTV.

In the premiere episode, viewers will be introduced to brothers Phil and Bob who live, play and compete together but couldn't be more different. Phil is currently ranked as the number one professional wakeboarder in the world, while Bob is number one in the hearts of the fans... self-proclaimed. To settle a longstanding heated debate, the brothers build a trick ramp on the lake behind their house to see who will have the courage to attempt it first. Later, Bob convinces a very reluctant Phil to go on a double date with him and two lady friends and then arrives in a very unique outfit that he thinks is sure to impress his date but only manages to annoy Phil.

In the second episode airing at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT, Bob disapproves of the girls Phil has been bringing home and wants to find a "good girl" for his older brother. Not wanting to hear Bob's opinion anymore, Phil agrees to let Bob, his mom and a few friends find a girl for him. Bob goes through extreme lengths including crashing a Jewish singles-mixer and putting a personal ad on a highway billboard with Phil's picture and phone number. In the end, Phil is anything but amused.

To connect with the WakeBrothers via Twitter, fans can follow Phil Soven @PhilSoven and Bob Soven @TheRealBobSoven and use the hash tag #WakeBrothers or like the show on Facebook.

"WakeBrothers" will also air internationally on MTV channels around the world starting in November 2012.

"WakeBrothers" is produced by Pink Sneakers Productions. Executive producers are Kimberly Cowin and John Ehrhard. Tony DiBari and Karen Frank serve as executive producers for MTV and Matthew Parillo is the executive in charge for the network.
