BIO CHANNEL PRESENTS "THE UNEXPLAINED" FROM EXECUTIVE PRODUCER DOUG LIMAN

NEW ORIGINAL SERIES EXPLORES REAL UNRESOLVED MYSTERIES AND PEOPLE WHO TURN TO METAPHYSICAL PRACTICES FOR ANSWERS

BACK-TO-BACK EPISODES PREMIERE SATURDAY AUGUST 4 AT 10PM AND 10:30PM ET

New York, NY - July 18, 2012 -- BIO Channel presents "The uneXplained," a new original series from Executive Producer Doug Liman ("The Bourne Trilogy," "Mr. and Mrs. Smith") that explores strange real life cases and individuals who turn to the supernatural world for help when all traditional methods have failed to provide a resolution. The mystery begins with two back-to-back episodes on Saturday, August 4 at 10PM and 10:30PM ET.

From intuitive healers to spirit channelers to psychic mediums, "The uneXplained" approaches mysterious physical circumstances with alternative spiritual methods. The series documents first-hand accounts from people dealing with a range of unusual afflictions including undiagnosed disease, physical limitation, loss of memory, an unsettled cause of death, paranormal activity and unsolved crime. In each personal story, the individual consults with a mystical expert in hopes of finding an explanation or remedy that may only lie beyond the physical world.

In the series premiere episode, "Disappearance at Dead Man's Curve," the family of a man missing for a year refuses to give up hope and meets with a psychic detective to try and help solve the cold case. Directly following at 10:30 PM, in "My Mysterious Seizures," a single mother of three is prevented from leading a normal life because of debilitating seizures. With doctors unable to diagnose her illness, she puts herself in the hands of a Shamanic Healer.

"The uneXplained" is produced for BIO by Air Extreme with Doug Liman and Russ Stratton serving as Executive Producers. Executive Producers for BIO are David McKillop, Elaine Frontain Bryant and Lily Neumeyer.
