HALLMARK CHANNEL'S "COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS" IS BIGGER THAN EVER!
A DANCE TO REMEMBER FOR ANDREW MCCARTHY IN "CHRISTMAS DANCE," A HALLMARK CHANNEL ORIGINAL WORLD PREMIERE, HOLIDAY 2012
Jack (Andrew McCarthy, "White Collar") is a rising financial executive who is dating a woman way out of his league both socially and financially. To prove his worth to her critical parents, he plans out the perfect proposal and settles on asking at her father's annual Christmas dance. Too bad he can't dance! As Jack struggles to balance the responsibilities of a new huge account while learning to waltz, he discovers true happiness in dance instead of climbing the corporate ladder and takes a huge risk in "Christmas Dance," a Hallmark Channel Original Movie World Premiere, Holiday 2012. Hallmark Channel's "Countdown to Christmas" is the biggest holiday destination on television, premiering more original holiday programs than any other network.
Jack (McCarthy) is an executive in a financial brokerage firm trying to impress the firm's president, Drew Clayton (Chris Gillett, "Suits"), in hopes of a promotion. However, Jack is dating the fabulously rich and elegant Demi Clayton (Stephanie Mills, "Urban Legend"), who happens to be Drew's daughter. Although Demi's mother Clarisse (Jane Moffat, "The Kennedys") doesn't necessarily approve of Jack and would prefer her daughter to date a man within their social circle, Jack still plans on proposing. Trying to create the perfect proposal, Jack signs up for dance lessons in preparation for his proposal to Demi at her father's lavish annual Christmas Dance. But when sparks start to fly between Jack and his dance instructor, Christine (Michelle Nolden, "Numb3rs"), Jack will have to make some important decisions before it is too late.
"Christmas Dance" is a Chesler/Perlmutter Production. Lewis Chesler, David Perlmutter,
and Rob Vaughn are executive producers. Marek Posival is the producer. John Bradshaw directed from a script by Kevin Commins.
