"Be Good Johnny Weir" Returns To Logo For Second Season

New Season Premieres Monday, September 17th at 10PM ET/PT on Logo

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 3, 2012 -- Whether you love or loathe his bad boy ways, there's one thing everyone can all agree on - Johnny Weir is 100% outrageous. This fall, go behind the sequins and catch up with the outrageous and always outspoken three-time U.S. National Figure Skating Champion and World Medalist, Johnny Weir, for the second season of his docu-series "Be Good Johnny Weir." Comprised of ten, thirty-minute episodes, "Be Good Johnny Weir" premieres on Monday, September 17th at 10PM ET/PT on Logo.

In this season, "Be Good Johnny Weir" will go beyond the ice rink and dive deeper into Johnny's work and personal life as he balances his immense drive for the ultimate prize in the skating world with his growing ambition to branch out into various entertainment endeavors. Never a stranger to taking big risks to win big, Johnny makes a foray into the music business with his first single, publishes a book, dabbles in a fashion line and works to launch his own ice show spectacular. With the support of his long-time manager, coach and friends, Johnny learns that sometimes even the most driven superstar will face hiccups on the road to success. Viewers will also be privy to a never-before-seen private side of Johnny as he meets the love of his life and navigates the pressures of nurturing a budding romance while facing the pressures of celebrity.

The first season of "Be Good Johnny Weir" quickly became a fan favorite as the series revealed a candid and brilliant Olympic athlete on the verge of crossing over. Throughout the season, viewers were given a front row seat to Johnny's achievements, defeats and personal growth as he learned that talent alone could not take him to the top.

The second season of "Be Good Johnny Weir" is directed and executive produced by James Pellerito and David Barba. The series is produced and co-financed by Original Media. Charlie Corwin and Jay Peterson executive produce for Original Media. Christopher Willey serves as Executive Producer for Logo.
