NBA TV's "Real Training Camp" Returns October 4; NBA Europe Live 2012 presented by BBVA Tips Off October 5
10th Season of NBA Real Training Camp Begins with Spotlight on New Orleans and Indiana
NBA TV is gearing up for the 2012-13 NBA regular season with the return of NBA Real Training Camp on Thursday, Oct. 4, at 11 a.m. ET. In its 10th season, NBA Real Training Camp is an NBA TV original series providing an all-access pass to follow teams as they prepare for the start of the season. The first episode will feature the New Orleans Hornets and overall No. 1 draft pick Anthony Davis as they prepare for their home opener against the San Antonio Spurs on the network Wednesday, Oct. 31, at 8 p.m. ET.
NBA TV host Rick Kamla and analyst Steve Smith will anchor the day-long, behind-the-scenes coverage from Hornets training camp in New Orleans. NBA Real Training Camp will continue Saturday, Oct. 6, at 10:30 a.m. with host Vince Cellini and analyst Austin Croshere covering his former Indiana Pacers. Additional teams to be featured on NBA Real Training Camp include the Boston Celtics on Friday, Oct. 12, and New York Knicks on Monday, Oct. 15.
NBA Europe Live 2012 presented by BBVA
The Boston Celtics and the Dallas Mavericks will take on the top Euroleague basketball teams - Alba Berlin from Germany, EA7 Emporio Armani from Italy, FC Barcelona Regal from Spain and Fenerbahce Ulker from Turkey - in a four-game tour which will take the NBA teams overseas. The first game tips off Friday, Oct. 5, at 2 p.m., with the Boston Celtics at Fenerbahce Ulker in Turkey.
The network will also televise the Orlando Magic facing the Hornets from Mexico City on Sunday, Oct. 7, at 2:30 p.m. NBA TV programming highlights for the upcoming week:
