NBA on TNT Preseason Action Tips Off Thursday, October 18
Brooklyn Nets Host Boston Celtics on Thursday, Oct. 18, at 8 p.m. ET;
Los Angeles Clippers Visit Denver Nuggets on Thursday, Oct. 25, at 10 p.m. ET
NBA preseason coverage on TNT will tip off Thursday, Oct. 18, at 8 p.m. ET as the Brooklyn Nets host the Boston Celtics from the recently opened Barclays Center. Marv Albert will return to his hometown Brooklyn to call the game with analysts Steve Kerr and Mike Fratello and reporter David Aldridge.
TNT will also televise NBA preseason action Thursday, Oct. 25, at 10 p.m. ET when the Los Angeles Clippers visit the Denver Nuggets. Kevin Harlan will provide play-by-play commentary with analyst Reggie Miller and reporter Craig Sager.

Turner Sports, marking its 29th year of NBA coverage, will feature a 52-game regular-season schedule on TNT. For the 11th consecutive year, the NBA season will exclusively open on TNT with a doubleheader on Tuesday, Oct. 30 - the defending champion Miami Heat and Finals MVP LeBron James hosting the Boston Celtics and Rajon Rondo at 8 p.m. ET, followed by the new-look Los Angeles Lakers hosting the Dallas Mavericks and Dirk Nowitzki at 10:30 p.m. ET.
The network's coverage will begin with the one-hour TNT NBA Tip-Off '12 presented by AutoTrader.com pre-game show at 7 p.m. ET, including the championship ring ceremony for the Heat.
