LOS ANGELES - This December, The Hub TV Network, one of the fastest growing basic cable networks, celebrates the holiday season by adding the outrageous animated television series "Animaniacs," executive produced by Steven Spielberg, to the programming lineup. A broad mix of wit, slapstick, and pop culture references, the animated series from Amblin Entertainment and Warner Brothers Animation will serve as a cornerstone of The Hub's month-long lineup of holiday-themed programming. The series will premiere with a four-hour marathon on Christmas Eve, Monday, December 24 (4-8 p.m. ET) followed by the holiday-themed musical feature film Animaniacs: Wakko's Wish Monday, December 24 (8-10 p.m. ET). "Animaniacs" will continue on the network's schedule in 2013 premiering in its regular timeslot on Monday, January 7 (3 p.m. ET).

"Animaniacs" is considered a variety show, with short skits featuring a large cast of characters including the Warner brothers, Yakko and Wakko, and their sister, Dot - three inseparable siblings - as they have a great time wreaking havoc and mayhem in the lives of everyone they meet. The series also features a number of comedic educational segments, often in musical form. Distributed by Warner Brothers Television, "Animaniacs" originally ran from 1993 through 1998 and established itself with both younger audiences and adult viewers as one of the most successful and popular animated series of the decade.
In addition, during the holiday season The Hub TV Network will count down to a special 48-hour lineup of holiday-themed programming on Monday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 25 highlighted by movies, specials, and series in the spirit of the season featuring a special six-episode, Christmas-themed marathon of the popular live-action series "Sabrina, The Teenage Witch"(7-10 a.m. ET) on Christmas morning followed by two holiday-themed television specials "Atomic Betty: The No-L 9" (10-11 a.m. ET) and "The Christmas Toy" (11 a.m.-noon ET).
Rounding out the Christmas programming during the 48-hour window on Monday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 25, The Hub will give viewers the gift of holiday-themed episodes of original animated and live-action Hub Original Series that include "My Little Pony Friendship is Magic," "Transformers Rescue Bots," "Pound Puppies," "The Adventures of Chuck & Friends," Family Game Night," and "R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour: The Series."

(6:30-7 a.m.) - "The Adventures of Chuck and Friends"
"Up All Night; Boomer The Snowplow" - Chuck and friends try to stay up late to welcome in the New Year; It's Christmas at the truck stop and Boomer admits that he wants to be a snowplow when he grows up.
(7:30-8 a.m.) - "Transformers Rescue Bots"
"Christmas in July" - Snow from a weather machine seems like the perfect antidote to a scorching Griffin Rock summer, but when the machine goes awry, Cody, his family and the Rescue Bots have to battle a colossal snow storm.
(11:30 a.m.-noon) - "My Little Pony Friendship is Magic"
"Hearth's Warming Eve" - The six friends are honored to put on Canterlot's most important play of the season, the Hearth's Warming Eve's holiday pageant that illustrates how Unicorns, Pegasi and Earth Ponies put aside their differences and founded Equestria.
"I Heard the Barks on Christmas Eve" - The Pound Puppies need a miracle to place hundreds of puppies that are overflowing from shelters all over town. The task seems insurmountable, but Rebound's tenacity may be just enough to pull off a Christmas miracle.
(4-8p.m.) - "Animaniacs" Marathon - Hub TV Network Premiere!
Joining The Hub TV Networks programming schedule with a marathon of eight back-to-back episodes is the much-beloved animated series "Animaniacs" executive produced by Steven Spielberg. The Warner brothers, Yakko and Wakko, and the Warner sister, Dot, have a great time wreaking havoc and mayhem in the lives of everyone they meet.
(8-10 p.m.) - The Hub Family Movie: Animaniacs: Wakko's Wish
In this musical extravaganza, Wakko Warner miraculously picks the one star in the sky that can make his wish for happiness come true. There's only one catch -- the only way to get the wish is to travel to where the star has landed and touch it.
Tuesday, December 25
(6:30-7 a.m.) - "The Adventures of Chuck and Friends"
"The Regifters" - Robotruck is the hottest new toy this Christmas, and Chuck got the last one in the stores. When he discovers that Boomer also wanted the toy, Chuck decides to "re-give" it, and discovers the value of giving meaningful gifts.
(7-10 a.m.) "Sabrina, The Teenage Witch" Christmas Day Marathon
The Hub presents a marathon of six back-to-back, holiday-themed episodes of the popular series "Sabrina The Teenage Witch." The series follows Sabrina Sellman (Melissa Joan Hart) as a teenager with magical powers living with her two aunts Hilda (Caroline Rhea) and Zelda (Beth Broderick) and their magical talking cat, Salem.
(10-11 a.m.) Hub TV Special: "Atomic Betty: The No-L 9"
Atomic Betty has to stop Maximus from turning singing planets from a forgotten constellation into ornaments for his Christmas tree.
(Noon-2 p.m.) "Family Game Night"
In these two back-to-back holiday-themed episodes, "Family Game Night" takes on a whole new meaning when your favorite board games become larger-than-life experiences in this series where families compete for cash and prizes.
(6-6:30 p.m.) "R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour: The Series"
"A Creature Was Stirring" - It didn't matter if Timmy was naughty or nice... this year he got one present he couldn't return.
