HBO Receives 17 Golden Globe Nominations, the Most of Any Television Network This Year
The pay channel received five nominations for "Game Change," including Best Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television.

HBO RECEIVES 17 GOLDEN GLOBE NOMINATIONS, THE MOST OF ANY TELEVISION NETWORK THIS YEAR

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 13, 2012 - HBO received 17 Golden Globe nominations, the most of any television network this year, for the upcoming 70th annual Golden Globe Awards, which were announced today in Los Angeles. "Game Change" led all TV programming with 5 nominations. The Golden Globe Awards will be presented Jan. 13 in Los Angeles.

HBO's Golden Globe nominations this year include:

* 5 nominations for "Game Change," including Best Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television, Best Performance by an Actor in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Woody Harrelson), Best Performance by an Actress in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Julianne Moore), Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Ed Harris) and Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Sarah Paulson).

* 3 nominations for "The Girl," including Best Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television, Best Performance by an Actor in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Toby Jones) and Best Performance by an Actress in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Sienna Miller).

* 2 nominations for "Hemingway & Gellhorn," including Best Performance by an Actor in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Clive Owen) and Best Performance by an Actress in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Nicole Kidman).

* 2 nominations for "Boardwalk Empire," including Best Television Series - Drama and Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Drama (Steve Buscemi).

* 2 nominations for "Girls," including Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical and Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical (Lena Dunham).
