NEW YORK, NY - JANAURY 23, 2013 - VH1 and the NFL have joined forces once again to bring a great night of music from the heart of all the action in New Orleans at "VH1's Best Super Bowl Concert Ever " airing LIVE on VH1 Friday, February 1 at 9 PM ET/PT and hosted by "LIVE with Kelly & Michael" co-host Michael Strahan and "Big Morning Buzz Live" host Carrie Keagan. VH1's Jason Dundas will also be in the mix highlighting host city, New Orleans. The special concert will pay tribute to Super Bowl XLVII with an unforgettable performance by Train along with special music guests and appearances by NFL favorites.
The concert will kick off Friday, February 1 at 9:00 PM ET/PT live from the Sugar Mill in New Orleans' famed Warehouse District. Fans can register to be a part of "VH1's Best Super Bowl Concert Ever " as NFL Insiders at www.1iota.com. Doors will open at 6 p.m. CT with festivities beginning at 7 p.m. CT.
Music and sports fans will enjoy Train's classics like "Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)," "Calling All Angels" and "Hey, Soul Sister," as well as some of their new hits like "50 Ways to Say Goodbye." Surprise guests and local artists will also hit the stage to bring some Southern flavor.
Train is made up of Pat Monahan (vocals), Jimmy Stafford (guitar) and Scott Underwood (drums).
