BBC AMERICA APRIL HIGHLIGHTS

SPIES OF WARSAW, THE GRAHAM NORTON SHOW, JAMES MAY'S MAN LAB, THE AGONY AND THE ECSTACY OF PHIL SPECTOR AND DOCTOR WHO: THE DOCTORS REVISITED

SPIES OF WARSAW - U.S. PREMIERE

Adapted by renowned Emmy(R)-winning writing team Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais (Across the Universe, Tracey Takes On...) and executive produced by Richard Fell (Outcasts), Spies of Warsaw is based on The New York Times Bestselling author Alan Furst's acclaimed novel. David Tennant (Broadchurch, Doctor Who, Fright Night) and Janet Montgomery (Made in Jersey, Black Swan, Entourage) star in the thrilling spy story set in Poland, Paris and London in the years leading up to the Second World War. Spies of Warsaw premieres over two nights - Wednesday, April 3, 9:00pm ET and Wednesday, April 10, 9:00pm ET - as part of BBC AMERICA's Dramaville programming block. Twitter: #SpiesOfWarsaw

THE GRAHAM NORTON SHOW - SEASON THIRTEEN - U.S. PREMIERE

Multi-award winning comedy talk-show host Graham Norton returns to BBC AMERICA with a new season of The Graham Norton Show premiering in a new primetime Thursday night slot. Expect trademark Norton comedy monologues, celebrity chat, eccentric stories and characters, and home-grown weirdness from the great British viewing public. The new season's guests will be announced in the coming weeks. The Graham Norton Show premieres Thursday, April 11, 10:00pm ET/PT. Twitter: @GrahNort @TheGNShow #GrahamNorton

JAMES MAY'S MAN LAB - SEASON TWO - U.S. PREMIERE

James May continues his epic quest to re-skill the modern male in James May's Man Lab - an action-packed series with a humorous twist. By exploring traditional abilities that has been lost by the modern man, May and his team perfect their man skills through a variety of challenges, including attempting to escape from Dartmoor prison while handcuffed, building a slate-bed pool table, reforming some impractical kitchen items, going on a ghost hunt in one of Britain's most haunted castles, and felling a tree to make toilet paper. With May and his team at the helm, it's time for the modern man to become resourceful again... James May's Man Lab premieres Monday, April 15, 10:00pm ET/PT. Twitter: @MrJamesMay

THE AGONY AND THE ECSTACY OF PHIL SPECTOR - U.S. PREMIERE

Phil Spector is a pioneer of American music, a legendary producer to John Lennon and Tina Turner, and, as of April 13th 2009, a convicted murderer. Yet the Spector who appears in Vikram Jayanti's documentary is not the severe, outlandishly coiffed defendant seen in sensationalistic accounts of his trial, but a charming, savvy music executive with a generous, but arguably accurate, estimation of his place in the history of popular music. The Agony and the Ecstasy of Phil Spector premieres Tuesday, April 2, 9:00pm ET/PT.

DOCTOR WHO: THE DOCTORS REVISITED - THE FOURTH DOCTOR - U.S. PREMIERE

BBC AMERICA celebrates the fourth Doctor, Tom Baker, in a new special of Doctor Who: The Doctors Revisited, followed by the storyline Pyramids of Mars. Baker played the Doctor for seven consecutive seasons over a seven-year period, making him the longest-serving actor in the part so far. As the Doctor, he quickly made the part his own, and with his eccentric style of dress and speech - particularly his trademark long scarf - immediately became a recognizable figure. Tom Baker, lead writer and executive producer Steven Moffat, producer Marcus Wilson, companion Louise Jameson, among others, discuss the most alien Doctor to date and Davros, the menacing creator of the Daleks. In the tales of Pyramids of Mars, the Doctor and his companion Sarah Jane Smith (Elisabeth Sladen) attempt to free a pyramid imprisoned Egyptologist from his possession by Sutekh, the last of a powerful alien called the Osirans. Doctor Who: The Doctors Revisited - The Fourth Doctor premieres Sunday, April 28, 8:00pm ET/PT. Twitter: #DoctorWho @DoctorWho_BBCA
