NEW YORK, April 2, 2013 - Come inside for an intimate look into the mind of comedian Amy Schumer in COMEDY CENTRAL'S newest series, "Inside Amy Schumer." Through a series of scripted vignettes, stand-up comedy, and man-on-the-street interviews, Schumer explores topics revolving around sex, relationships, and the general clusterf*ck that is life. Ten episodes begin on Tuesday, April 30 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT.

Schumer riffs on everything from 'sexting' to roasting a dying 12-year-old to envisioning a female version of Hooters. "Inside Amy Schumer" was created by Schumer and Daniel Powell, who executive produce along with Jessi Klein. Klein also serves as Head Writer. "Inside Amy Schumer" was directed by Neal Brennan (Chappelle's Show), Steven Tsuchida (The Sarah Silverman Program), and John Lee (Delocated), with original music composed by Questlove. Seasoned comics Tig Notaro, Kyle Dunnigan, Kurt Metzger, and Gabe Liedman make up the writing staff. "Inside Amy Schumer's" production services are provided by Jax Media, a New York based film and television production company, helmed by veteran producer Tony Hernandez. Brooke Posch is the Executive in Charge of Production for COMEDY CENTRAL.

In the premiere episode, Schumer attends a casting session for the internet video "2 Girls, One Cup," lets her imagination run wild after a one night stand, and endures a slightly less-than-terrifying plane flight.

Schumer is quickly becoming one of the hottest stars in the world of comedy, with her blend of wholesome, girl-next door looks and edgy comedy. She is coming off of her one- hour stand- up special, "Amy Schumer: Mostly Sex Stuff," which became COMEDY CENTRAL's second-highest rated special of 2012. Schumer was one of the featured comedians on the "COMEDY CENTRAL Roast of Roseanne," following her breakout performance on the "COMEDY CENTRAL Roast of Charlie Sheen." She was also most recently on "Louie" and Season 2 of HBO's "Girls." In 2011, she filmed the feature "Seeking a Friend for the End of the World" starring Steve Carell and Keira Knightley and "Price Check," an independent feature opposite Parker Posey which premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. And this past February, Schumer began a nationwide stand-up tour, "Inside Amy Schumer: The Live Tour," which will travel to more than 30 cities.

Joining Amy for the first season of "Inside Amy Schumer" are a roster of well-known actors and comedians such as Jon Glaser, Michael Showalter, Amber Tamblyn, Michael Ian Black, Rob Schneider, Abby Elliott, Tig Notaro, Tom Papa, Lisa Lampanelli, Dave Attell, Will Janowitz, Nikki Glaser, Sara Schaefer and Missi Pyle.

CC Studios will also release "Behind Amy Schumer," a five episode web series that gives "behind the scenes" insight as Schumer creates and stars in her first TV series.

Additionally viewers can watch preview clips and get an extended look at the season on the show's website at cc.com/amy and throughout season one, the site will feature exclusive video including original segments and extended highlight clips. Beginning today, fans can also follow Amy on Twitter @amyschumer and later in the month check out Tumblr at insideamyschumer.tumblr.com. In addition, the "Inside Amy Schumer" Facebook page will be updated multiple times a week with the latest content from the show.

Episodes from "Inside Amy Schumer" will be available in SD and HD the day after air on iTunes, Xbox Video, Amazon Instant Video, Sony PlayStation Store, Vudu and Samsung Media Hub.
