NEW YORK, NY - April 15, 2013 - NBC News and MSNBC will continue to provide comprehensive, late breaking coverage of the tragic explosions that went off during the Boston Marathon earlier today.
In addition to an hour-long primetime special airing tonight at 10p ET/ 7pm PT, following are the programming details across all platforms. Updates will be released as they become available -
Monday, April 15
6:30pm - 7:30pm ET
Brian Williams will anchor a special one-hour edition of "NBC Nightly News," featuring live reports from Boston, MA. A simulcast of the broadcast will be available on NBCNews.com.
9pm
MSNBC's Rachel Maddow will host a special edition of "The Rachel Maddow Show" live from Boston.
MSNBC
Primetime team to lead breaking news coverage on the network throughout the evening. MSNBC will have extended, live coverage at 11p and midnight ET.
10pm ET / 7pm PT
Anchored by Brian Williams, an NBC News hour-long primetime special with reports from Matt Lauer, Lester Holt, Ron Allen, Pete Williams, Katy Tur and others.
