Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg of Point Grey Pictures, Jimmy Miller and Sam Hansen of Mosaic Media Group and Roumieu himself are executive producing alongside McKenna for Floyd County Productions. Spelling and Maggie Malina then will executive produce the half-hour, which may switch to multi-camera. A search has begun for a writer. (THR.com)

NORMAL HEART, THE (HBO; W: Larry Kramer; D: Ryan Murphy) - Jonathan Groff and Joe Mantello have both landed roles on the original movie, which tells the story of the onset of the HIV-AIDS crisis in New York City in the early 1980s. The former will play Craig, the first lover of Bruce Niles (Taylor Kitsch), an early victim of HIV-AIDS; while Mantello is set as Mickey Marcus, an instrumental member of the Gay Men's Health Crisis. Jim Parsons, Julia Roberts, Mark Ruffalo and Matt Bomer also star. (Deadline.com)
