ESPN Adds 15 Mountain West Conference College Football Telecasts for 2013

ESPN has added 15 Mountain West Conference college football games, all on Saturdays, to its 2013 schedule. Kick times and specific networks - including ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN3 and ABC - will be determined during the season on a 12- or six-day basis.

ESPN previously announced seven Mountain West games for Thursday and Friday night telecasts. Overall, ESPN networks will carry 22 Mountain West home games this season as part of a new multi-year agreement with the conference.

The 2013 season marks the first year of the deal for rights to select conference-controlled football and basketball games through the 2019-20 campaign. As part of the agreement, ESPN acquired exclusive worldwide rights to up to 16 Mountain West football games plus every Boise State home game as well as up to 31 conference-controlled men's basketball games annually.

The schedule is highlighted by multiple games featuring top teams from the Mountain West, including the three programs that claimed a share of the conference championship in 2012: Boise State (six games), Fresno State (four games) and San Diego State (three games). ESPN platforms will also carry six Air Force games, five of Nevada, four of UNLV, three of San Jose State and more.
