LOS ANGELES, June 10, 2013 - For the first time ever, FX received the most Television Critics Association Awards nominations of any network, with a total of seven nominations. Its first-year drama series The Americans led the way for FX and it was the most nominated show on TV with four nominations including star Matthew Rhys for Individual Achievement in Drama, Outstanding Achievement in Drama, New Program, and Program of the Year.

"We are very grateful to the TCA for their recognition of our shows and the talented people behind them," said John Landgraf, Chief Executive Officer, FX Networks and FX Productions. "It's especially rewarding that The Americans received the most nominations of any show on TV and cemented its place as the most critically-acclaimed new series this year. Our congratulations and thanks go out to Joe Weisberg and Joel Fields and everyone involved in the show. As for Louie, what can you say? It's just the best comedy on television and the critics have been incredibly supportive from the beginning. Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Tim Minear and everyone associated with AHS delivered some of the most riveting television this year, and this latest incarnation of American Horror Story was a masterpiece."

For the third consecutive year, FX's comedy series Louie was nominated in the category of Outstanding Achievement in Comedy, and its star Louis C.K. earned his third consecutive TCA nod for Individual Achievement in Comedy. Both Louie and Louis C.K. won those awards respectively in 2012.

The FX miniseries American Horror Story: Asylum earned a nomination in the category of Outstanding Movie, Miniseries or Special.
