HAVE YOU EVER BEEN BELITTLED BY SOMEONE BECAUSE OF YOUR WEIGHT AND WANTED TO STAND UP TO THAT PERSON AND GET EVEN?

OXYGEN EMPOWERS WOMEN TO SHED THE POUNDS AND SETTLE THEIR SCORES IN NEW DOCU-SERIES "MY BIG FAT REVENGE" PREMIERING TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, AT 9 PM ET/PT

NEW YORK - July 17, 2013 - Oxygen Media gives women a life-changing opportunity of transformation and retribution in the empowering new docu-series "My Big Fat Revenge," premiering on Tuesday, September 3, at 9 PM ET/PT. After being discounted, humiliated, and rejected because of their weight, these women are ready to take control of their lives, put their painful pasts behind them, and finally stand up to the people who inflicted the hurt. From the girl whose boyfriend proposed with a ring two sizes too small to the girl who was tormented about her size by her childhood dance instructor, these women will get the ultimate chance to get healthy, change their lives for the better, and teach their former offenders the lesson of a lifetime. With an eye for an eye approach, these ex-boyfriends, former classmates and even family members will get a taste of their own medicine as they're set up on blind dates, auditions, and nightmare jobs to experience what they put their offenders through. For these transformed women, this is their golden opportunity to settle their scores and hopefully get the apologies they deserve.

The premiere episode features Jennifer, who met Hiren on a plus-size online dating website. At first Jennifer thought she was living her fairy-tale romance with a man who accepted her, but Hiren soon started suggesting she lose weight, dye her hair blonde and change other physical characteristics. After never introducing her to his friends or family, he finally told her they could never truly be together because she was fat. Now, with her confidence back, Jennifer wants to show him how it feels to have your date be ashamed to be with you; and with the help of a friend, Hiren will be set up on blind date he'll never forget. The second story follows Tamar, whose mother tormented her about her weight her entire life. Over the years, Tamar has tried to confront her stubborn mother, but the conversations always turned into arguments. Tamar hopes her mother will finally listen as she tries to show her how painful it was to grow up with someone who constantly taunted and teased her. She hopes inviting her mom to the theater to see a special play will hit close to home and will help repair their relationship.

At the conclusion of each episode, Oxygen.com will run a companion web series featuring an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the emotional journey behind the women's weight loss. From their intense workout regimens to dietary changes and weigh-ins, the web series will reveal the powerful transformations and show how the two women featured in that week's episode lost the weight and found their confidence.

In addition, popular entertainment blogger Perez Hilton, who was teased as a teen because of his weight, will help viewers get the ultimate revenge in the "My Big Fat Revenge" contest. If you've ever been wronged, this is your chance to tell your story and take your power back. One lucky winner will get to fly to Los Angeles or New York to meet Perez and record their story, which will receive exclusive homepage placement on PerezHilton.com and could be featured during the premiere of "My Big Fat Revenge." The contest winner will also receive spa treatments along with a makeup and hair makeover. Fans can submit their story to PerezHilton.com/MyBigFatRevenge any time between Monday, July 22, and August 7 (no photos or videos will be considered).**
