ENTERTAINMENT ONE AND SUNRISE PICTURES ANNOUNCE NEW TV DEVELOPMENT DEAL
New banner, Sunrise TV, will co-finance and develop pilot scripts for cable
Los Angeles, CA - August 6, 2013 - In the latest push to expand its production business, Sunrise Pictures and Entertainment One (eOne) today announced a new television development deal in which the two companies will co-finance and develop pilot scripts primarily for the one-hour dramatic cable space. eOne will produce and handle worldwide distribution.

Joe Dain, Head of Production for Sunrise Pictures, negotiated the deal and will act as Executive Producer alongside Schafer and Sunrise Head of Development, Jim Klock. Television projects will be produced under the company's new banner, Sunrise TV.
Sunrise Pictures is the independent production and financing company behind films the The Whistleblower (Rachel Weisz), the upcoming The Trials of Cate McCall (Kate Beckinsale) and There's Always Woodstock (Brittany Snow, Jason Ritter). The company is also preparing to shoot a reality series following the life and career of three time Grammy Award Nominated singer/songwriter and actress, Maria Conchita Alonso. The show will be targeted to the Latin market.
