Beginning Tuesday, August 27 at 10 PM and 10:30 PM ET/PT, Wayne guides Velocity viewers through an exclusive world of high-end, stylish automobile collections in world premiere episodes of CHASING CLASSIC CARS.
In the all new episodes Wayne continues his search to buy, restore and sell the finest, rarest vehicles ever made. The classic cars that he finds are often hidden in homes, garages and barns across America. Wayne also brings viewers deeper into the elite inner circle of respected classic car artisans, collectors and restorers often meeting with them and helping them find the car of their dreams.
During the August 27 10 PM ET/PT world premiere episode, Wayne's childhood dream comes true when he gets a call about a 1965 427 Cobra. After his mechanic, Roger, gets the Cobra running Wayne then takes it for a very special last hurrah when he takes a child who is battling cancer for the ride of a lifetime.
Then during the 10:30 PM ET/PT world premiere, one of Wayne's clients is red-hot for classic Ford automobiles and wants every production model from 1935-1940. With six models produced in each year, Wayne has his big job to do. The first stop is an auto auction in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to find the right Ford for his client's collection.

Wayne's client has a 1973 Daytona Spyder and like many vintage Ferrari's it has been painted "restoration red", finished with a tan leather interior. A classic look for sure but not one that stands out in a crowd. Lucky for Wayne and his eclectic tastes, the current owner is keen to bring the car back to it's an original color Pinot Verde. With new paint and interior Wayne brings the car to the penultimate Ferrari concours, the Cavallino Classic, hoping to score a Platinum award.

Wayne's appetite for the offbeat is in full effect when he auctions off a wild assortment of rides: a straight from the crate 1944 Willys MB Jeep; a one person 1959 Jones Grand Prix Hydroplane boat; and a deliciously nostalgic 1966 Ford F250 Good Humor Truck.

When Wayne finds a stately 1911 Winton 17b Five-Passenger Touring brass car, he knows it's the one for him. First he needs to auction off a handful of cars, including a 1963 Chevrolet Corvette 327/340hp "Split Window" Coupe valued between $70,000 and $100,000 in order to buy the 1911 Winton 17b.
