LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- A&E has pulled the plug on its veteran drama "The Glades," THR.com reports.
The show's fourth season averaged 2.595 million viewers for the cable channel, including 762,000 adults 18-49 (0.6 rating). Both numbers were down double digits from last season, which averaged 3.009 million viewers and 927,000 adults 18-49 (0.7 rating).
Said development comes despite a season high (3.406 million viewers, 1.088 million adults 18-49) for its de facto finale this past Monday, which also marked its most-watched episode since its 2010 premiere.
The news comes on the heels of yesterday's renewal of "Longmire." The drama averaged 3.701 million viewers and 941,000 adults 18-49 (0.8 rating) this past summer, down a few ticks from last season's 4.019 million viewers and 973,000 adults 18-49 (0.8 rating) average.
