TV LAND PICKS UP ORIGINAL SINGLE-CAMERA COMEDY SERIES "JENNIFER FALLS" STARRING JAIME PRESSLY
New York, NY - January 27, 2014 - TV Land has greenlit single-camera sitcom "Jennifer Falls" starring Emmy(R) Award-winning actress Jaime Pressly ("My Name is Earl"), it was announced today by TV Land President, Larry W. Jones. The comedy, which was previously announced as a multi-cam series, will premiere this summer.
"We are really excited to make this foray into single-camera comedy," said Jones. "With Jaime at the helm and such high-caliber talent behind the camera, we have the perfect combination for this multi-dimensional series."
"Jennifer Falls" revolves around a career woman and mother, Jennifer Doyle (Pressly) who must move back in with her own mom after being let go from her high-powered, six-figure salary job. With her teenage daughter in tow, Jennifer has to face her new life and figure out what the next steps are to rebuild.
"Jennifer Falls" is written, created and executive produced by Matthew Carlson ("The Wonder Years," "Malcolm in the Middle"), with Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis ("Reba," "The Exes") also serving as executive producers. Larry W. Jones and Keith Cox serve as executive producers for TV Land.
