ESPN2 to Televise A11FL Games
New Spring Professional Football League Debuts in 2014
ESPN2 will televise a pair of A11FL games as the new spring professional football league makes its debut in 2014. As part of a new rights agreement with the league, ESPN's video player will also be available on the A11FL website, http://a11fl.com/.
The A11FL games on ESPN2 are scheduled to air Saturday, May 17 at 7:30 p.m. ET (from Raymond James Stadium) and Thursday, June 5 at 7 p.m. (from the Cotton Bowl in Dallas). The game matchups will be announced at a later date.
"With its unique formations, A11FL will be an exciting brand of football, and ESPN is excited to offer a national platform for fans to be able to see these games during the league's debut," said Matthew Volk, ESPN director, programming and acquisitions.
