Conan O'Brien's YouTube Channel Surpasses 500 Million Total Views
Popular Channel Averaging More Than 40 Million Views Per Month
Conan O'Brien's "Team Coco" YouTube Channel, which has enjoyed dramatic growth since debuting in 2010, surpassed the 500 million videos viewed milestone in January of this year. Featuring clips from TBS's popular late night series CONAN, along with internet-exclusive music and comedy, the "Team Coco" Channel has amassed 1.25 billion minutes watched and more than 1.3 million subscribers. The channel currently averages more than 40 million views per month, driven in part by O'Brien's ability to get out of the studio and make some of late-night television's funniest and most memorable remote comedy bits.
CONAN and Team Coco continue to be leaders on the social media landscape among the late-night crowd. Strengthened by nearly 10 million Twitter followers, 2.3 million Facebook likes and 4.5 million Google Plus followers, O'Brien and his Team Coco digital team have managed to attract the youngest median age among all hour-long late-night shows.
Since 2010, Team Coco Digital has been nominated three consecutive years for the Emmy(R) for Outstanding Achievement in Interactive Media, winning in 2012 for its groundbreaking synchronized mobile app. Other honors include six Webby Awards, two Social TV Awards, two Golden Key Art Awards and the coveted South by Southwest Interactive Award for Excellence in Social Media. Team Coco Digital is executive-produced by John A. Wooden.
Produced by Conaco LLC, CONAN airs Monday-Thursday at 11 p.m. (ET/PT) on TBS. Jeff Ross serves as executive producer of the show, which originates from Stage 15 at Warner Bros. Studios.
