MORE STARS ALIGN FOR "RAY DONOVAN"
HOLLYWOOD LEGEND ANN-MARGRET JOINS THE SECOND SEASON OF THE HIT SHOWTIME(R) DRAMA "RAY DONOVAN"
NEW YORK, NY - (February 24, 2014) - Emmy-winning and Oscar(R)-nominated actress Ann-Margret (Tommy, Law &Order: SVU) will guest star in a recurring role on the second season of the hit SHOWTIME drama series RAY DONOVAN. Ann-Margret will play the ever-beautiful June Wilson, a major star back in her day who has a past with Ray's boss Ezra Goldman (Elliott Gould). Anchored by series leads Liev Schreiber and Jon Voight, Ann-Margret joins an impressive list of guest stars this season including Hank Azaria, Wendell Pierce, Sherilyn Fenn, Vinessa Shaw and Kip Pardue. Production on the second season's 12 episodes is currently underway in Los Angeles and is set for a summer premiere on SHOWTIME.
A consummate entertainer, Ann-Margret has won an Emmy(R), and received five other Emmy nominations, has been nominated twice for an Academy Award(R) and won five Golden Globe(R) Awards. She won the Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama for NBC's "Law & Order: SVU" and she received an Emmy, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild nomination for Best Actress in a Movie for Television, starring as the legendary Pamela Harriman in the Lifetime film, "Life of the Party." Ann-Margret was also nominated for a Grammy(R) for her CD, "God is Love: The Gospel Sessions," and has released her second gospel album.
Set in the sprawling mecca of the rich and famous, RAY DONOVAN stars Liev Schreiber as LA's best professional fixer, the man called in to make the city's celebrities, superstar athletes, and business moguls' most complicated and combustible situations go away. This powerful drama unfolds when his father, Mickey Donovan, played by Jon Voight in his Golden Globe-winning role, is unexpectedly released from prison, setting off a chain of events that shakes the Donovan family to its core. The cast also includes Paula Malcomson, Eddie Marsan, Dash Mihok, Steven Bauer, Katherine Moennig, Pooch Hall, Kerris Dorsey and Devon Bagby.
