MULTI-TALENTED PEFORMER KEKE PALMER JOINS SEASON TWO OF THE ACCLAIMED DRAMA SERIES "MASTERS OF SEX" ON SHOWTIME(R)

LOS ANGELES, CA March 12, 2014 - Multi-talented performer Keke Palmer is joining the season two cast of the acclaimed SHOWTIME drama series MASTERS OF SEX. Palmer will recur in the guest starring role of Coral, the nanny hired by the Masters to care for their new baby. Production on season two will begin mid-March in Los Angeles.

At the age of twenty, Keke Palmer has already established herself as one of the fastest rising young stars of her generation. Her talents span film, television, and music alike. Keke can next be seen starring in the Flower Films horror/thriller, Animal, directed by Brett Simmons and executive produced by Drew Barrymore and Nancy Juvonen. The movie will be released in June 2014. Also in 2014, she can be seen in lead roles in the indie pictures, Brotherly Love (2014), produced by Queen Latifah and Imperial Dreams (Sundance Film Festival - 2014) opposite John Boyega and directed by Malik Vitthal. Keke was most recently seen in a strong supporting role opposite Ms. Cicely Tyson, Blaire Underwood and Vanessa Williams in the Lifetime television movie A Trip to Bountiful (March 8, 2014). In addition to her acting, Keke has been hard at work in the music studio recording her next album. Currently working with three Grammy award winning producers, she will have two songs from soundtracks both to debut this summer as well as a single from her new album coming out later this year.

Season One of MASTERS OF SEX received both Golden Globe(R) and WGA nominations and was honored as one of AFI's Top Ten Television Programs of the Year. Starring Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan as real-life pioneers of human sexuality, William Masters and Virginia Johnson, the series chronicles their unusual lives, romance and pop culture trajectory. Their research touched off the sexual revolution and took them from a mid-western teaching hospital in St. Louis to the cover of Time magazine. The series is an adaptation of Thomas Maier's book Masters of Sex: The Life and Times of William Masters and Virginia Johnson, The Couple Who Taught America How To Love. Season two also stars Caitlin Fitzgerald, Teddy Sears and Annaleigh Ashford. MASTERS OF SEX was created by Michelle Ashford (The Pacific) who also serves as an executive producer. In addition, the series is executive produced by Carl Beverly, Sarah Timberman, Judith Verno and Amy Lippman. Michael Dinner, Michael Sheen, Tammy Rosen and Thomas Maier serve as producers. MASTERS OF SEX is produced by Sony Pictures Television.
