STAMFORD, Conn. - April 7, 2014 - The NHL's "Push for the Playoffs" features up to 10 games with playoff implications in the final week of the regular season across NBC and NBCSN, including T.J. Oshie and the St. Louis Blues against the Detroit Red Wings in the NHL Game of the Week on NBC Sunday at 12:30 p.m. ET, and Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins hosting Detroit on Wednesday Night Rivalry at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Oshie and the Western Conference-leading Blues (52-19-7, 111 points) appear three times across NBC and NBCSN this week, including their regular-season finale at home against the Red Wings (37-27-14, 88 points), who currently hold the first wild card spot in the Eastern Conference and hope to extend their 22-year streak of consecutive playoff appearances. Veteran play-by-play announcer Dave Strader and analyst Brian Engblom will have the call from Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Mo. on Sunday afternoon.

Wednesday Night Rivalry between the Red Wings and Penguins on NBCSN is a likely preview of a first-round Eastern Conference matchup. Pittsburgh (50-24-5, 105 points) has clinched the Metropolitan Division title, and would face the Red Wings in the first round of the playoffs if Detroit maintains its position in the first wild card spot.

Emmy Award-winning play-by-play commentator Mike 'Doc' Emrick, analyst Eddie Olczyk and Emmy Award-winning 'Inside-the-Glass' analyst Pierre McGuire will have the call from CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Emrick, Olczyk and McGuire will also be on-hand to call the action Saturday at 3 p.m. ET on NBC, when the Penguins host the in-state rival Philadelphia Flyers. The Flyers (40-29-9, 89 points) currently sit in third place in the Metropolitan Division, looking at a possible first-round matchup with the New York Rangers, who are two points clear of Philadelphia.

This week's NHL coverage begins Tuesday night at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN when the Blues host Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals. The Capitals (35-30-13, 83 points) are four points behind the Columbus Blue Jackets (40-31-7, 87 points) with four games remaining for the final wild card spot. Strader and Engblom will have the call from Scottrade Center in St. Louis.

Coverage continues Wednesday night following Red Wings-Penguins, when Joe Pavelski and the San Jose Sharks visit Ryan Getzlaf and the Anaheim Ducks at 10:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. The Sharks (49-21-9, 107 points) currently trail the Ducks (50-20-8, 108 points) for the Pacific Division lead. Randy Hahn (play-by-play) and Drew Remenda (analyst) will provide live commentary from Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.

The Western Conference playoff picture will continue to take shape on Thursday night at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN, when the Blues travel to Minnesota to face Zach Parise and the Wild (40-26-12, 92 points), who hold the first wild card spot in the Western Conference. Strader and Engblom will have the call from Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn.

Coverage continues Friday night at 10:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN when the Sharks host the Colorado Avalanche (50-21-7, 107 points), who are battling for playoff position in the Central Division with St. Louis and Chicago. Hahn and Remenda will call the action from the SAP Center at San Jose in San Jose, Calif.

NBCSN will present NHL action on Saturday night at 8 p.m. ET, when the Chicago Blackhawks visit the Nashville Predators. Gord Miller (play-by-play) and Mike Johnson (analyst) will provide live commentary from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.

In addition, NBCSN may present games on Friday and Sunday night, depending upon how playoff scenarios develop throughout the week. Announcements of any potential broadcasts will be made later this week.

NHL Live, NBC Sports Group's live NHL pre-game and post-game studio show, will air prior to all NHL games this week on NBCSN.
