BETTER CALL SAUL (AMC) - Patrick Fabian, Rhea Seehorn and Michael Mando have all landed roles on the "Breaking Bad" prequel, about the evolution of the popular Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) character before he ever became Walter White's lawyer. Fabian will play Burt, "a Kennedy-type lawyer"; with Seehorn as an attorney named Beth; and Mando as "Spanish-speaking career criminal Eddie." Jonathan Banks and Michael McKean also star. AND IN OTHER NEWS... - USA, per a network spokesperson, has passed on its remaining drama pilots "The Arrangement" and "Novice" as well as its comedy pilot "Love Is Dead"; "The Blacklist" co-executive producers Patrick Massett and John Zinman have inked a new two-year overall deal with producer Sony Pictures Television (Deadline.com); "True Blood" co-stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer have signed a two-year, first-look deal with HBO to develop series, films and mini-series (Deadline.com); "Scandal" co-executive producer Jenna Bans has signed a two-year overall deal with ABC Studios (Deadline.com); "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" co-creator Dan Goor has likewise inked a two-year overall deal with Universal Television (THR.com); and Whoopi Goldberg is developing a new reality series revolving around her daughter, Alex Martin, and her extended family (THR.com).
