13 DAYS OF BLOOD (Xbox, New!) - Stephen David ("The World Wars") is developing a new hybrid series for Xbox Entertainment Studios which "will tell the lesser-known story of the Roman Empire through the lens of Commodus, the 'gladiator emperor' who created 13 days of bloody 'games' in the Colosseum." Adding, "The series will weave interviews with scripted scenes, and will also introduce a new, interactive technology that will bring fight scenes to life in a way never before seen in television." No other auspices were given for the eight-to-10-episode project, which is set up at David's Stephen David Entertainment banner. (Deadline.com)

HYSTERIA (Amazon; W: Shaun Cassidy; D: TBA) - T.R. Knight ("Grey's Anatomy") has been cast as the male lead in the drama pilot, about Dr. Logan Harlow (Mena Suvari), an exceptionally bright, driven, complicated, charming but socially awkward neurologist/psychiatrist at the University of Texas Medical School who travels to her hometown of Austin, TX to investigate a mysterious epidemic among high school girls that may be spreading through technology. He's set as her brother, Carter James Harlow, "a fiercely intense man who's been on death row since he was 19 years old and is two months away from execution." Josh Stewart also stars.
