HOLLYWOOD ICON SANDRA BULLOCK TO BE HONORED WITH "DECADE OF HOTNESS" AWARD AT SPIKE TV'S "GUYS CHOICE"

#GuysChoice To Premiere Wednesday, June 11 At 9 PM, ET/PT

NEW YORK, May 28, 2014 - Spike TV has announced that it will crown Sandra Bullock with the "Decade of Hotness" award, one of the night's highest honors, during the eighth annual "Guys Choice" celebration taping Saturday, June 7th at the Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, CA. The Academy Award(R) winning actress joins past winners including Halle Berry, Charlize Theron and Jennifer Aniston as extraordinary leading ladies whose world-class talent is matched only by their iconic beauty. #GuysChoice premieres Wednesday, June 11 at 9 PM ET/PT on Spike TV.

"We've been courting Sandra so long for this award that she was eventually going to say yes or take out a restraining order," said Casey Patterson, Executive Producer and Executive Vice President, Event Production & Talent Development, Viacom Entertainment Group. "We couldn't be more thrilled to be honoring Sandra Bullock with our Decade of Hotness award. She is as ridiculously talented as she is beautiful and our audience adores her."

Bullock, one of Hollywood's most sought after leading ladies, this year received her second nomination for an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role as Dr. Ryan Stone in the critically acclaimed sci-fi thriller Gravity, opposite George Clooney. Gravity is Bullock's highest grossing film, earning $716 million worldwide, and also her most critically acknowledged, winning seven Academy Awards. In 2010, Bullock won an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in The Blind Side, where she portrays the matriarch of a conservative suburban household. The film is based on the true story of Michael Oher.

Previously announced A-list attendees being honored with the coveted mantlers include: Matthew McConaughey ("Guy of the Year"), Julia Louis-Dreyfus ("Hot and Funny"), Kevin Hart ("King of Comedy"), Mark Wahlberg ("Troops Choice"), Andy Samberg ("Primetime"), Norman Reedus ("Biggest Ass-Kicker"), Emily Ratajkowski ("Our New Girlfriend"), Key & Peele ("Hottest Couple"), Chris Hardwick ("Smartacus"), Johnny Knoxville ("Guycon"), and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover models Chrissy Teigen, Nina Agdal and Lily Aldridge ("Holy Grail of Hot").
