LIFETIME TO "BRING IT!" BACK THIS SUMMER
All-New Episodes of Hit Docuseries Featuring MISS D
and the DANCING DOLLS Begins July 23
New York, NY (June 2, 2014) - Coach Dianna Williams ("Miss D") and her Dancing Dolls are back, and they're ready to "bring it" even harder! After reaching series highs across the key demos during its spring finale on April 30th, including 2.3 million Total Viewers, 10 all-new episodes of Lifetime's hit dance docuseries Bring It! (#BringIt), produced by Pilgrim Studios, start airing Wednesday, July 23, at 9pm ET/PT.
Bring It! follows Miss D and her dancers as they refuse to lose and push themselves to the limit each week in the relentless pursuit of victory at high-powered dance competitions throughout the U.S. Every jump, step and high kick on the program highlights the triumphs and struggles of intense competition, where errors aren't tolerated, mediocrity isn't excused and only a win is acceptable.
After a spring season full of fierce competition, Miss D is willing to do whatever it takes for the Dancing Dolls to remain the best hip-hop majorette dance troupe in the South. The series returns with the annual Dancing Dolls tryouts, where Miss D scouts for fresh talent and weeds out any weak links on the team. Even veteran dancers will have to fight to keep their spot on the squad. Kayla returns to reclaim her captain position, and Camryn and Crystianna both vie for leadership roles. Will Sunjai return to the Dolls after her fallout with Miss D at the Battle Royale last season? If she does, will she even manage to make the team?
Since the series' launch in March, Bring It! posted double digit growth, including a +128% jump among Total Viewers versus premiere, +127% in Women 25-54, +125% in Adults 25-54, +122% with Adults 18-49 and +120% in Women 18-49. Its median age of 29 ranks Bring It! as Lifetime's second-youngest skewing series, after Preachers' Daughters. Multichannel News ranks Bring It! one of cable's "stickiest shows" on social media.
Bring It! is produced by Pilgrim Studios. Executive producers for Pilgrim are Craig Piligian and Derek W. Wan. Eli Lehrer, Mary Donahue and Colleen Conway Grogan executive produce the series for Lifetime.
