JOHN IN 'NORTHPOLE,' A HALLMARK CHANNEL ORIGINAL HOLIDAY MOVIE WORLD PREMIERE NOVEMBER 15

Part of Hallmark Channel's COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS, The #1 Most Treasured Holiday Destination by Television Viewers; With Special Musical Appearance by 'American Idol' Champion Candice Glover

A magical holiday escape awaits as Tiffani Thiessen ("Beverly Hills, 90210"), Josh Hopkins ("Cougar Town"), Bailee Madison ("Trophy Wife," "Pete's Christmas") and Max Charles ("Mr. Peabody & Sherman") star in "Northpole," a Hallmark Channel Original Holiday Movie World Premiere, Saturday, November 15 (8 p.m. ET/PT, 7C). The film also stars six-time Golden Globe(R) and Emmy(R) nominated actor Robert Wagner ("Hart to Hart") and Emmy(R) nominee Jill St. John ("Diamonds Are Forever") as Santa and Mrs. Claus, with a special musical appearance by "American Idol" champion, Candice Glover. As the first full-length, two-hour original holiday movie that Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Cards, Inc. have created together, "Northpole" is a holiday adventure never seen before on the network, taking viewers right into the magical world of Santa's wonderfully enchanting hometown. "Northpole" follows the charming tale of a reporter who, with the help of her son, his teacher and a clever young elf, attempts to recapture the happiness of the holiday season to save Christmas after the world has begun to lose faith. "Northpole" is part of Hallmark Channel's annual COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS, the #1 most treasured holiday destination by television viewers.

"Hallmark Channel's collaboration with its parent company, Hallmark Cards, Inc., will bring viewers a spectacular holiday movie that gives them an exclusive look inside the Northpole, as never seen before," said Michelle Vicary, Executive Vice President of Programming, Crown Media Family Networks. "No other network does Christmas like Hallmark Channel and it is fitting that only this network can truly immerse viewers into the holiday magic and show them a behind-the-scenes look at the city that is Christmas. 'Northpole' will captivate the warmth, love and inspiration of the holiday season and become the annual must-see holiday movie of the year."

Santa (Wagner) and Mrs. Claus' (St. John) magical home, Northpole, has grown into a vast city powered by the magic of holiday happiness around the world. Yet the city is in trouble, as people everywhere are too busy to enjoy festive time together. One of these stressed-out souls is Chelsea (Thiessen), a single mom who is trying to get noticed at her new reporting job while helping her ten-year-old son Kevin (Charles) adjust to a new school. When he starts talking about real elves and actual sleigh rides, she worries that his imagination has gotten out of control. With a little added help from Kevin's charming teacher Ryan (Hopkins), a mysterious elf, Clementine (Madison), and a gospel singer named Josephine (Glover), Chelsea may learn that even chasing down the facts can lead to holiday magic.

"Northpole" is a Muse Entertainment production in association with Crown Media Productions. Executive Producers are Joel S. Rice and Michael Prupas. Irene Litinsky is producer. Douglas Barr directs from a script by Gregg Rossen & Brian Sawyer.
