"BROOKLYN NINE-NINE" CUFFS EVA LONGORIA AS GUEST STAR ON THREE-EPISODE ARC THIS FALL ON FOX

Season Two of BROOKLYN NINE-NINE Premieres Sunday, Sept. 28 on FOX

Golden Globe Award nominee Eva Longoria ("Desperate Housewives") will guest-star on BROOKLYN NINE-NINE for a three-episode arc this season on FOX. She will play SOPHIA, a defense attorney who catches JAKE's (Andy Samberg) attention when she faces off against him in court.

Golden Globe Award-winning comedy BROOKLYN NINE-NINE returns for Season Two, beginning Sunday, Sept. 28 (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Season One ended with a surprising twist as Jake was asked to go undercover for a major FBI investigation. He said his goodbyes to the precinct, and finally confessed his "romantic-styles" affection for Detective AMY SANTIAGO (Melissa Fumero), the unit's honorary straight arrow. In Season Two, Captain RAY HOLT (Andre Braugher) finds himself face-to-face with his longtime nemesis (guest star Sedgwick) as the NYPD goes through administration changes.

Longoria joins previously announced guest stars Kyra Sedgwick ("The Closer"), who will appear in two episodes, former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens, appearing as himself, and Jenny Slate ("Parks and Recreation"), who will appear in the Season Two premiere.

Eva Longoria is a Golden Globe Award-nominated, Screen Actors Guild Award-winning and ALMA Award-winning actress, producer, director, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Best known for her starring role on "Desperate Housewives," Longoria has several upcoming films, including "Frontera," opposite Ed Harris and Michael Peña; and "Refugio," written and directed by Academy Award nominee Demian Bichir. Through her production company, UnbeliEVAble Entertainment, Longoria has developed several television series, including "Devious Maids" and "Mother Up." Known for her service to her community, Longoria started the Eva Longoria Foundation to benefit Latinas through education resources; and Eva's Heroes, dedicated to aiding individuals with intellectual special needs.

BROOKLYN NINE-NINE is produced by Universal Television, 3 Arts Entertainment and Fremulon. The series is created and written by Dan Goor and Michael Schur. The series is executive-produced by Goor, Schur and David Miner. The pilot was directed by the team of Phil Lord and Chris Miller.
