LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- NBC has opted against ordering additional episodes of its new Thursday comedies "Bad Judge" and "A to Z."
Said development, as first reported by Deadline.com, will spell the end of both series after 13 episodes.
It's understood originals of each will continue through January 22. NBC announced back in May that its flagship drama "The Blacklist" will assume the Thursday, 9:00/8:00c slot on February 5 (following a special post-Super Bowl installment on February 1) alongside newcomer "Allegiance."
Look for a special two-hour "The Biggest Loser" finale on January 29 leading into the series finale of "Parenthood." The Peacock has yet to reveal the occupant or occupants of the 8:00/7:00c hour going forward.
As for "Bad Judge" and "A to Z," the freshman duo posted a 0.9 and a 0.7 rating, respectively, last night among adults 18-49 - each a series low.
