RYAN BITTLE STARS AS A SUITOR WHO COURTS LEAH RENEE WITH A STORYBOOK ROMANCE IN "LOVE BY THE BOOK" A HALLMARK CHANNEL ORIGINAL MOVIE WORLD PREMIERE JANUARY 24
Stefanie Powers, John Schneider and Kristopher Turner Also Star
A whimsical bookstore owner discovers that her own happily ever after might not be by
the (story) book in "Love by the Book," a Hallmark Channel Original Movie World Premiere
Saturday, January 24 (9p.m. ET/PT, 8C). Leah Renee ("The Playboy Club") stars as
Emma, an impassioned bookstore owner who tries to balance her budding romance with
Landon, a dashing suitor, played by Ryan Bittle ("All My Children") with proving her business
prowess to her investor and his son Eric, played by television veteran John Schneider ("The
Dukes of Hazzard") and Kristopher Turner ("Saving Hope"). Chiming in with sage love advice is
television veteran Stefanie Powers ("Ring by Spring") who plays a friendly bookstore co-worker
with endless romantic wisdom.
Bookstore owner Emma believes in fairy tales. Although she has yet to be swept away
by prince charming, she sees real knight in shining armor potential with a new suitor, Landon.
As Emma balances time with Landon and saving her bookstore with irritating business consultant,
Eric, however, she weighs storybook romance against genuine commitment. While she
sorts out her feelings toward Landon and Eric, as well as toward love and romance, Emma begins
to realize that fairytale endings aren't always by the book.
"Love by the Book" is a Domain Media Production in association with Larry Levinson
Productions. James Wilberger is the producer. David S. Cass, Sr. directs from a script by Jeff
Bonnett and Abbey Cleland and Jennifer Notas.
