LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- ABC has shuttered its midseason drama "Members Only."
The news - as first reported by THR.com - marks the latest offering to get the hook prior to hitting the screen.
Susannah Grant penned the pilot script from a story she conceived with director David O. Russell, who bowed out of the project earlier this year. R.J. Cutler subsequently came aboard to helm the premiere.
The proposed 13-episode series was billed as an "Upstairs, Downstairs" take on Connecticut's most exclusive country club. The ensemble cast included Betsy Brandt, Boris Kodjoe, Callie Hernandez, Chris Conroy, Jaime Lee Kirchner, John Stamos, Luke Mitchell, Michael Landes, Natalie Zea and Rebecca Forsythe.
ABC Studios and CBS Television Studios were behind "Members Only" with Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly also among the executive producers.
