BREED (TNT; W: John Scott Shepherd; D: Scott Winant) - Aisha Hinds ("Under the Dome") is the latest to be cast in the pilot, a supernatural drama centering on a volatile race of creatures who are committing brutal murders in the Pacific Northwest, and the reluctant FBI investigator who pairs with a female assassin to track them. She'll play police Captain Dennison, "Cooper's (Justin Chatwin) boss, who warily gives him some leeway to pursue his unusual theories about the recent murders in Tacoma." Nadia Hilker and Amber Clayton also star. (Deadline.com)

DAMIEN (Lifetime/FTS; W: Glen Mazzara; D: Shekhar Kapur) - Megalyn Echikunwoke ("Mind Games") has been cast in the upcoming drama, which follows the adult life of Damien Thorn (Bradley James), the mysterious child from the 1976 motion picture who has grown up, seemingly unaware of the satanic forces around him. She's on board as Simone Baptiste, "a woman who grew up in the shadow of her overachieving sister whose life is thrown into turmoil when tragedy strikes, leading her to question her religious faith." (Deadline.com)

DIVORCE (HBO; W: Sharon Horgan; D: Jesse Peretz) - Thomas Haden Church, Molly Shannon and Talia Balsam have all landed roles on the Sarah Jessica Parker-led comedy pilot, about Frances, "a woman who suddenly begins to reassess her life and her marriage, and finds that making a clean break and a fresh start is harder than she thought." Church then will play Robert, "Frances' husband who is surprised to learn that his wife's perspective on their marriage is different from his"; with Shannon as Diane, "Frances' high-strung friend who has a successful husband, a beautiful house, and no children"; and Balsam as Dallas, "Frances' close friend, who has been both widowed and divorced." (Deadline.com)

LIFE IN PIECES (CBS/20th; W: Justin Adler; D: TBA) - Colin Hanks ("Fargo") has scored the lead roles on the single-camera comedy pilot, about one family as told through the separate stories of its different family members. He's set as Greg, "the coddled youngest of three siblings who finds himself overwhelmed and unprepared for the birth of his first child." (Deadline.com)

LIVING ON VIDEO (HBO; W: Bob Stevenson & Rich Wilkes; D: David Fincher) - Jason Flemyng is set and Kerry Condon and Elizabeth Lail are in talks for roles in the comedy, set in 1983 Los Angeles, about Robby, "a wide-eyed guy who drops out of college and drives to Hollywood with dreams of directing a sci-fi epic; landing a job as a PA for a company making music videos." Flemyng is expected to play Theo, "a hard-living music video producer"; with Condon as Marcy, "an angry record executive overseeing music videos"; and Lail as "wide-eyed stylist and singer-wannabe Ashley who works on music video productions." Still to be cast in the project, which reportedly will film two episodes in lieu of a pilot, are the lead Robby and his roommate Clem who introduces Robby to the video music world. (Deadline.com)

AND IN OTHER NEWS... - NBC is reportedly in discussions to bring back its longest-running drama series "Law & Order" as a limited series (Deadline.com); ABC has signed off on directors for its drama pilots "The Advocate" (Michael M. Robin), "Broad Squad" (Coky Giedroyc) and "LA Crime" (Tom Shankland) (Deadline.com); and Netflix is said to be in the early stages of developing a live action series based on "The Legend of Zelda," one of the most popular videogame series of all time (WSJ.com).
