THE BLING IS BACK WITH A NEW SEASON OF TLC's "MY BIG FAT AMERICAN GYPSY WEDDING"

New season premieres Thursday, February 26th at 9/8c

From the most extravagant wedding gowns to explosive celebrations and the madness that follows, MY BIG FAT AMERICAN GYPSY WEDDING is back for a fourth season beginning Thursday, February 26th at 9/8c. With coming of age parties, arranged marriages, purification ceremonies and a Veil of Darkness wedding ritual, the Gypsies have their own set of customs and superstitions, vital to the survival of their mysterious culture. MY BIG FAT AMERICAN GYPSY WEDDING explores the unique and ancient traditions that have shaped and defined the Gypsy community for hundreds of years.

This season, with the help of leading Gypsy designer Sondra Celli, the brides walk down the aisle in some of the biggest and bling-tastic dresses to date. Her customized gowns reach new heights this season with one dress weighing in at more than 100 pounds! Even with happily-ever-after endings, it wouldn't be a Gypsy wedding without a few family head-to-head throwdowns, and this season is no different as the notorious Stanley family weds off one of their own in a wedding no one can forget.

In the premiere episode, a Greek Gypsy bride's dreams come true when she walks down the aisle in an extraordinary custom wedding gown. Her dress is so large that Sondra has to prepare transportation in the most audacious form to get the bride to her special day. Also in this episode, a Gypsy teen's Sweet 16 party is derailed by her overly traditional Gypsy grandmother who threatens to sabotage her coming-of-age party.

Throughout the season, drama unfolds in all forms - arranged marriages, familial brawls, double weddings and the annual Gypsy ball. In one episode, 16-year-old party girl Chelsey is forced into a marriage with her third cousin by her controlling mom, and later, a bedazzled baptism ignites a family feud over Gypsy customs. In another dramatic episode, it's the battle of the mother-in-laws as 23-year-old Kody marries his 33-year-old ex-babysitter Danielle, and another Gypsy bride Sasha tries to keep her family and her new gorger (non-Gypsy) family from an all-out war. Also this season, sisters Brittany and Kalynn are throwing a huge double wedding, but their big day may be put on hold when Brittany's fiancé's jealous sister threatens to start a war.

MY BIG FAT AMERICAN GYPSY WEDDING is produced by Firecracker Films for TLC.
