46 PERCENTERS, THE (ABC/WBT; W: Ellen Kreamer & Sherry Bilsing-Graham; D: TBA) - Angela Kinsey ("The Office") has been cast in the multi-camera comedy pilot, about the 46 percent of the population who choose to stay married, told through the POV of three couples. She'll play Marni, a wife and mother who's billed as pretty, driven, neurotic but not nutty. (Deadline.com)


48 HOURS 'TIL MONDAY (FOX/Universal; W: Charlie Grandy; D: TBA) - Rob Riggle and Jane Curtin are the first to be cast in the single-camera comedy pilot, about one husband's desperate struggle to not let every weekend go completely to hell. He'll play said fellow, Charlie, with Curtin as "Charlie's cigarette-smoking mother-in-law, Louise, who, along with her husband, lives in his house and displays her relaxed attitude toward child-rearing when forced to babysit." CHICAGO FIRE (NBC) - Oliver Platt is the latest to board the show's latest spin-off, "Chicago Med," this time set at the county hospital. He'll play "the intelligent head of psychiatry, Dr. Daniel Charles." Laurie Holden, Nick Gehlfuss, S. Epatha Merkerson and Yaya DaCosta also star in the project, a backdoor pilot for which will air later this season. (Deadline.com)


CODE BLACK (CBS/ABCS/CBSP; W: Michael Seitzman; D: David Semel) - Melanie Kannokada is the latest addition to the drama pilot, set in the busiest and most notorious ER in the nation - LA County Hospital - where the extraordinary staff confronts a broken system in order to protect their ideals and the patients who need them the most. She'll play Malaya Pineda, "a doctor who is starting her residency." Marcia Gay Harden also stars. (Deadline.com)


CUCKOO (NBC/Lionsgate; W: Kieron Quirke & Robin French; D: TBA) - Flula Borg has booked the title role in the single-camera comedy pilot, based on the British series about a daughter comes back from a summer abroad married to a charming but infuriating eccentric named Cuckoo, much to her father's annoyance. Andy Samberg toplined the U.K. original. (Deadline.com)


ENDGAME (NBC/Sony; W: John Rogers; D: TBA) - Wesley Snipes and Damon Gupton have both scored roles on the drama pilot, about Alex King (Philip Winchester), a former sniper turned security expert in the high stakes world of Las Vegas who is drawn into a mysterious conspiracy that forces him to complete a series of heroic challenges in order to save innocent lives. Snipes will play "the unflappable, analytical and mysterious Mister Johnson, Pit Boss for The Game who keeps an eye on the big picture but is also capable of cleaning up a mess when things spiral too far out of control"; with Gupton as Cal Brown, "Las Vegas Police detective and Alex's friend." HOW WE LIVE (NBC/Universal; W: Brian Bradley & Steven Cragg; D: TBA) - Andrea Anders has booked a role on the single-camera comedy pilot, about blogger Russell (yet to be cast), and his wife, Holly (also yet to be cast), who move to the suburbs where he begins writing about marriage and the family lives of his suburban friends and neighbors, in the style of an anthropologist who's stumbled on an undiscovered tribe. She'll play Natalie, "a stay-at-home mom who is Holly's best friend." Chris Klein, Jared Gertner and Lindsay Price also star. (Deadline.com)


MS. (HBO, New!) - Marisa Tomei and Kathy Najimy are set to play feminist icons Gloria Steinem and Bella Abzug in a new mini-series at the pay channel. George Clooney, Grant Heslov and Bruce Cohen are executive producing the project, which "takes a look at the creation of Ms. Magazine in 1971 through the eyes of the the woman who co-founded and ran it, Steinem (Tomei), and her best friend, member of the US House of Representatives Bella Abzug (Najimy)," alongside Tomei and Najimy. OCTOPUS (HBO, New!) - Peter Gould ("Better Call Saul") is developing a new movie at the pay channel based on Guy Lawson's 2012 nonfiction book of the same name, subtitled "Octopus: Sam Israel, the Secret Market and Wall Street's Wildest Con." He'll write, direct and executive produce the project, which "will revolve around a colorful cast of rogues and schemers who create an audacious hedge fund fraud and then go on a wild search for 'the Octopus,' a secret and elite market that controls the world financial system."
