CATCH, THE (ABC/ABCS; W: Helen Gregory, Jennifer Schuur & Kate Atkinson; D: Julie Anne Robinson) - Damon Dayoub ("NCIS") has scored the male lead on the drama pilot, about Alice Martin (Mireille Enos), a gutsy female forensic accountant who exposes fraud for a living and has finally found fulfillment both at work and in love until a case comes along that threatens to turn her world upside down. He'll play her slippery fiancé, Kieran Lynch, who "is not all he claims to be, plunging them into a dangerous game of cat and mouse." Jacky Ido and Jay Hayden also star. (Deadline.com)


CODE BLACK (CBS/ABCS/CBSP; W: Michael Seitzman; D: David Semel) - Raza Jaffrey ("Homeland") is set as the male lead on the drama pilot, set in the busiest and most notorious ER in the nation - LA County Hospital - where the extraordinary staff confronts a broken system in order to protect their ideals and the patients who need them the most. He'll play Neal Hudson, "an excellent doctor who believes that connecting emotionally with his patients is critical and taking risks with their health is abhorrent." Luis Guzman, Maggie Grace, Marcia Gay Harden and Melanie Kannokada also star. (Deadline.com)


CORDON (The CW/WBT; W: Julie Plec; D: David Nutter) - Hanna Mangan Lawrence ("Spartacus: War of the Damned") is the latest addition to the drama pilot, about when a deadly epidemic breaks out in Atlanta, a large city quarantine is quickly enforced, leaving those stuck on the inside to fight for their lives. She'll play Teresa, "a pregnant teenager eager to escape her mother's judgment by running away with her boyfriend, she just misses her opportunity to leave the quarantine zone." Chris Wood, Christina Moses, Claudia Black, David Gyasi and Kristen Gutoskie also star. (Deadline.com)


FOR JUSTICE (CBS/CBSP; W: Rene Balcer; D: Ava DuVernay) - Anika Noni Rose ("The Good Wife") has been cast in the lead role on the drama pilot, about an FBI agent who works in the Criminal Section of the Department of Justice Civil Rights Division investigating crimes based on civil rights violations across the country. She'll play said woman, Natalia "Nat" Chappel, in the project, which also stars Phylicia Rashad. (Deadline.com)


HALF OF IT, THE (CBS/CBSP; W: Mike Gibbons; D: James Burrows) - Jon Dore ("How to Live with Your Parents (For the Rest of Your Life)") has booked the lead role on the multi-camera comedy pilot, about a newly divorced dad who revels in the fact that he now gets to keep half his stuff, which is more than he ever had when he was married. He'll play said fellow, Mike, who "is dealing with mixed feelings: half of him is the excited, upbeat single guy and the other half is the single dad who is in over his head with single parenting." Christine Ko also stars. (Deadline.com)


LA CRIME (ABC/ABCS; W: Steven Baigelman; D: Tom Shankland) - Adam Rothenberg and Holley Fain have both been cast in the anthology series pilot, about two LA cops as they track a Bonnie & Clyde-esque serial killer team amidst the rock-and-roll, coke-infused revelry of the 1980s Sunset Strip. He'll play one of said cops, Jack Roth, with Fain as Trish, his "loving and protective wife" and mother of their 15-year-old daughter, Vicki. Darrell Britt-Gibson, Erika Christensen, Karolina Wydra and Taissa Farmiga also star. (Deadline.com)


LFE (CBS/CBSP; W: Paul Downs Colaizzo; D: David Slade) - Andy Mientus ("Smash") has been tapped for a role on the drama pilot, a high-octane medical procedural centering on second-year residents at New York City's top hospital as they attempt to balance their god complexes with their humanity. He's set as Trevor, "a second-year surgical resident. His hypervigilance makes him a fast reactor to threatening stimuli, so when a crisis situation comes along, he is able to rise above and save the day - though he nearly will have a panic attack while he does it." Ana Kayne and Annie Funke also star. (Deadline.com)


LOVE IS A FOUR LETTER WORD (NBC/20th; W: Diana Son; D: TBA) - Meta Golding, Monet Mazur and Colin Donnell have all booked roles on the drama pilot, in which race, sexuality and gender roles collide when three diverse couples put modern marriage to the test. Golding will play Julie, "a successful attorney who is Nick's (Rockmund Dunbar) ex-wife and the mother of his two children"; with Mazur as Fiona, "the sexy siren who broke up Nick and Julie's marriage, and subsequently married Nick"; and Donnell as Sean, "Nick's long-time friend and ad agency partner, who is happily married to Tandi (Cynthia McWilliams), the mother of their young son, Christopher, who looks exactly like Sean." Brian Tee and Nadine Velazquez also star. (Deadline.com)


OF KINGS AND PROPHETS (ABC/ABCS; W: Adam Cooper & Bill Collage; D: Jeffrey Nachmanoff) - Actor Ray Winstone and director Jeffrey Nachmanoff have both signed onto the drama pilot, billed as an epic biblical saga of faith, ambition and betrayal as told through the eyes of a battle-weary king, a powerful and resentful prophet and a resourceful young shepherd on a collision course with destiny. He'll play Saul, "the paranoid and violent first king of Israel." (Deadline.com)


SNEAKY PETE (CBS/Sony; W: Bryan Cranston & David Shore; D: Seth Gordon) - Giovanni Ribisi, Marin Ireland and Libe Barer have all been cast in the drama pilot, about a thirty-something con man who, upon leaving prison, takes cover from his past by assuming the identity of a cellmate, hiding out from his debtors while working for his new "family's" bail bond business. Ribisi will play Marius Josipovic, who ultimately becomes Peter Murphy; while Ireland is set as the real Pete's first cousin, Julia, "a witty single mother of two who is running the family's bail bond business and who has her suspicions about his real motives." Barer then will round out the bunch as Carly, "Julia's younger sister who is always looking for trouble and finding it." Peter Gerety and Margo Martindale also star while Seth Gordon will direct and executive produce. (Deadline.com)


STUDIO CITY (FOX/WBT; W: Krista Vernoff; D: Sanaa Hamri) - Jeanine Mason ("Bunheads") has scored a role on the drama pilot, about a young singer, Catalina "Cat" Evans (yet to be cast), as she comes of age living with her songwriter father, Rob (Eric McCormack) - who turns out to be a drug dealer to the stars. She'll play Zoe, "Rob's child from a previous relationship with a Latino lover. A brilliant, code-writing college student in financial trouble, she has moved back home but lives in the garage." Heather Graham also stars. (Deadline.com)


TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE (The CW/CBSP; W: Joe Hill; D: TBA) - Kris Lemche is set as the only regular on the anthology series pilot, a revival of George A. Romero's 1980s anthology series which featured an individual short story that ended with a plot twist. He'll play Newman, "a weathered and tortured young man, Newman is the guide to the unsuspecting who come across The Darkside. Newman - a man with his own desperate, wrenching secrets - knows exactly what's causing the terrifying Darkside Events that drive the series. What he doesn't know is how to stop them."
