CMT'S FIRST-EVER LATE NIGHT SHOW, "THE JOSH WOLF SHOW" PRODUCED BY CHELSEA HANDLER PREMIERES THURSDAY, JUNE 11 AT 11:00 PM, ET/PT
Comedy Series Airs Nightly (Thursday-Sunday)
NASHVILLE - June 2, 2015 - From executive producer Chelsea Handler comes "The Josh Wolf Show," CMT's first original late night show starring comedian Josh Wolf. Best known for his recurring role on "Chelsea Lately" and host of "Shark After Dark," Wolf will examine pop culture through practical sensibility and the lens of everyday people, while showcasing his self-deprecating humor and unique outlook on life. The series airs four nights a week (Thursday through Sunday) beginning Thursday, June 11 at 11:00 - 11:30 p.m. ET/PT.
"I couldn't be more excited to be living out my dream of hosting a late night talk show on CMT," added Wolf. "There is no better home for my brand of comedy that most call 'intelligently stupid.' For the record, I consider that a compliment."
Each episode features Wolf - who refuses to sit behind a typical late-night-desk - with a varied panel of comedians, actors, musicians and more offering their takes on pop culture and weird-but-true headlines of the day. Things then move out of the studio and onto the streets where Josh interacts with the general public. The show also includes jaw-dropping and laugh-inducing feats and in-studio demonstrations, as well as musical performances from today's biggest stars.
"The Josh Wolf Show" is executive produced by Chelsea Handler and Sue Murphy, as well as FREE 90 MEDIA's Brad Wollack and Tom Brunelle. Jayson Dinsmore and Julia Silverton executive produce for CMT.
