Philadelphia born and raised Jay Oakerson has risen the ranks of New York City comedy to become truly one of the best at the art of storytelling. Dubbed recently by The New York Times as a "Master of the Dirty Joke," Oakerson has also mastered the art of Crowd Work. The comedian currently has a new full length album, "The Crowd Work Sessions: What's Your F@!?ng Deal?" on Comedy Central Records, recorded live at The Stand Comedy Club in New York City. It's his second album with the label, following his critically acclaimed "An American Storyteller."
Oakerson is recognized for his numerous television appearances such as "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" and the hit IFC show "Z-Rock," where he received critical acclaim for his performance as "Neil." He has also appeared on BET's "Comic View," HBO's "P. Diddy's Bad Boys of Comedy" and Comedy Central's "The Half Hour," "This Is Not Happening," "Comedy Underground with Dave Attell," "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn."
Dan Soder, originally from Aurora, CO, started doing stand-up while attending the University of Arizona. After two years of playing clubs and casinos all over the southwest, Soder decided he'd had enough extreme heat and venomous animals, so he moved to New York. After living in New York for nine years, Soder has been featured on Comedy Central's "John Oliver's New York Stand-Up Show," and "The Half Hour," "Conan" and "Opie and Anthony." He can be seen on episodes of Comedy Central's "Inside Amy Schumer" and a recurring role on Showtime's new series "Billions" in 2016.
