ALL-NEW SEASON OF "FAMILY FEUD" SET TO PREMIERE ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2015
Los Angeles, CA - Monday, August 24 - The fun never ends on Family Feud when the nationally syndicated game show returns for its new season on Monday, September 14, 2015 (check local listings). The upcoming season will have viewers dizzy with laughter as all-new families duke it out on the big stage. With questions like, "Tell me the last thing you stuck your finger in... " everyone will crack a smile! Family Feud is produced by FremantleMedia North America and distributed by Debmar-Mercury.
In the 2014-15 Season, "Family Feud" has averaged a 6.2 household rating to date, putting it 24% up year-to-year and making it the fourth highest-rated first-run in syndication. In the key demos of women ages 25-54 (3.0) and adults (2.5) ages 25-54, the game show is tied with top-rated "Judge Judy" and is up year-to-year by 20% and 19% respectively.
The upcoming season will feature families from across the U.S. who will once again be joined by the hilarious Steve Harvey as they compete for the chance to win up to $20,000 by guessing the most popular answers to questions posed to 100 people surveyed. Auditions for the season were held in Chicago, IL; Omaha, NE; Columbus, OH; Austin, TX; Louisville, KY; Birmingham, AL; San Francisco, CA; New York, NY; and Atlanta, GA.
In addition to debuting all-new side-splitting feuds, the upcoming season will mark Steve Harvey's 1,000th episode as host of the beloved game show. The incredible milestone will be celebrated in full on the Family Feud stage.
