Premiering on Wednesday, October 21nd at 7:00pm ET Antarctic Edge: 70° South shows the thrilling journey world-class scientists take as they explore the West Antarctic Peninsula. After devastating climate events like Hurricane Katrina and Superstorm Sandy, oceanographer Oscar Schofield teams up with researchers to understand why the West Antarctic Peninsula is the fastest winter-warming place on earth.
