"LIVE WITH KELLY AND MICHAEL" CELEBRATES THE FIFTH ANNIVERSARY OF ITS ANNUAL "AFTER OSCAR(R) SHOW"

"LIVE's" Post-Oscar Tradition Returns for a Fifth Year Monday Morning, February 29, 2016, Live at 9:00 a.m. EST

"LIVE with Kelly and Michael" will continue an awards season tradition with the fifth edition of "LIVE's After Oscar(R) Show," airing live in national syndication on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 29 at 9:00 a.m. EST.

Airing live the morning after Hollywood's biggest night, "LIVE"s annual post-Oscar broadcast has become one of the show's most popular episodes, typically ranking as the top-rated telecast of the season.

Hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan and the "LIVE" production team originate from the magnificent Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center, mere hours after the Oscar festivities have wrapped on the same stage. Each year, Oscar-winning actors and filmmakers stop by to celebrate their wins live on-air the next morning with Ripa and Strahan. In the past, they've been joined by Oscar recipients such as Lupita Nyong'o, Octavia Spencer, Christoph Waltz, and the cast of Best Picture winner "The Artist." The show also has included spectacular performances by Cirque du Soleil, Flo Rida, Jabbawockeez and the cast of "Dancing with the Stars."

In addition, Ripa recaps her exclusive backstage interviews with the night's winners and presenters, Strahan showcases the iconic red carpet and a panel reviews the gorgeous fashions for which the Oscars are known.

For fans who will be in the Los Angeles area on February 29, tickets to attend "LIVE's After Oscar Show" are available through "LIVE"s website, LIVEKellyandMichael.com.

Oscars for outstanding film achievements of 2015 will be presented on Oscar Sunday, February 28, 2016, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center and televised live on the ABC Television Network at 7 p.m. EST/4 p.m. PST. The Oscars, hosted by Chris Rock, will be televised live in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide.
