DISCOVERY LIFE'S "NEW GIRLS ON THE BLOCK" RECEIVES GLAAD MEDIA AWARD NOMINATION FOR OUTSTANDING REALITY PROGRAM
Silver Spring, MD - Discovery Life's NEW GIRLS ON THE BLOCK was nominated today for a GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Reality Program. The inspirational series was the first to embed with a real group of female friends within the transgender community, offering a transformative look at these women's lives as they navigate their daily struggles and successes. It is the network's first GLAAD Media Award nomination in the Outstanding Reality Program category.
