SEASON 14 OF TLC'S "SAY YES TO THE DRESS" CELEBRATES HEROES, BRIDES WITH A TWIST AND SPECIAL CELEBRITY GUESTS
Country music star Kristian Bush of Sugarland writes new theme song for iconic series
New season premieres on Friday, March 4th at 9/8c
New York, NY - With wedding season just around the corner in NY, TLC invites you to save the date when the original SAY YES TO THE DRESS returns on March 4th at 9/8c. Entering into its 14th season, the hit series debuts with a new theme song written by platinum-selling country music star Kristian Bush of Sugarland. This season, Kristian visits Kleinfeld to help country girl Evyn find the perfect dress. Inspired and moved by his experience, he wrote the song "Forever Now".
"I'm thrilled that "Forever Now" will be the new Say Yes theme!" said Kristian. "When I walked into Kleinfeld, I was really struck by the energy there. It's like a warehouse full of hope. As a singer and songwriter, it's really exciting to be around that. The leap that so many people are taking every day, when they fall in love -- it's absolutely inspiring. So I hope this song makes people feel the energy of living right in the moment, making that wish, and taking that leap."
In the season 14 opener, Martha Stewart pops in to help out a friend and her family have that perfect 'bridal moment.' The rest of the season is filled with special guest appearances and unique brides, including Miss USA 2014 Nia Sanchez who is still searching for her perfect dress just two months before her wedding; double amputee, bronze Olympian and Dancing with the Stars runner-up Amy Purdy; and bride Jenna Pugh who brings along her younger brother Justin, offensive guard for the New York Giants. High School Musical star Corbin Bleu also visits Kleinfeld with his fiancée, who is on the search for a sexy yet sophisticated look for her wedding day.
Wedding dress designer Haley Paige also reveals she's soon to be a bride herself, and during a visit to her studio, she spills the details of her Lake Tahoe wedding - from a blue painted "unicorn" and firework displays to the details of three different looks she is designing for the occasion.
Brides continue to flock to Kleinfeld from all over the country in search of their dream dress. In a special episode this season, one war veteran receives the shock of a lifetime when Randy Fenoli surprises her with a VIP experience at Kleinfeld. After two tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, the 9/11 bombing at the Pentagon, and severe PTSD amongst other injuries, the surprises keep coming for this incredible woman on her special day.
From extravagant customized designs to brides on a budget, viewers can anticipate more designers and dresses than ever before.
Additionally this March, Randy Fenoli and TLCme host Danni Starr will introduce viewers to the most stunning and stylish designer wedding dresses to-date. These 16 fabulous gowns will go head-to-head in a four week competition to become the Say Yes 2016 March MadDRESS champion!
Fans of SAY YES TO THE DRESS will get to play along at home and submit brackets online, for a chance to win SYTTD swag and a certificate to Kleinfeld! Randy and Danni will report on which dresses will advance to the following rounds and join viewers on Friday nights with LIVE social elements.
SAY YES TO THE DRESS is produced by Half Yard Productions for TLC.
