Fowler, Castro to Host ESPN2's Prime-Time Invictus Games Orlando 2016 Coverage; Nightly Reports from Schaap, Rinaldi

Bob Woodruff of ABC News to Contribute

ESPN2's prime-time coverage of Invictus Games Orlando 2016 will be led by some of ESPN's best-known, award-winning and well-respected commentators in Chris Fowler, Tom Rinaldi, Jeremy Schaap and Marysol Castro. Additionally, award-winning Bob Woodruff of ABC News, severely injured while covering the war in Iraq, will bring his unique perspective to the coverage.

ESPN2's coverage will begin Sunday, May 8, at 8 p.m. ET with the two-hour Opening Ceremony. Fowler and Castro will host the festivities from Champion Field at ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World in Orlando and share with viewers the excitement and anticipation of the Games. One-hour programs Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 7 p.m. each day, also hosted by Fowler and Castro, will update viewers on the day's competitions and include features on the competitors and storytelling from award-winning Rinaldi and Schaap. Woodruff will contribute personal observations and anecdotes. ESPN2's coverage will conclude Thursday, May 12, with the Closing Ceremony live at 7:30 p.m. All coverage on ESPN2 will also be available to stream live on WatchESPN across computers, smartphones, tablets and connected devices via an affiliated video provider.

ESPN2 Commentator Bios:

Chris Fowler: One of the most respected hosts and play-by-play commentators in television, Fowler appears on ESPN marquee properties, primarily in college football and Grand Slam - Australian and US Opens, Wimbledon - tennis. In 2014, he became the play-by-play for the ABC Saturday Night Football booth. He served as the host of College GameDay, the network's Emmy-winning Saturday morning college football preview show from 1990 - 2014.

Marysol Castro: Host of the Premier Boxing Champions on ESPN series since June 2015, Castro will also serve as a reporter for ESPN's Little League World Series telecasts. She was previously a news anchor at WPIX in New York, a weather forecaster for The Early Show on CBS and a features correspondent for the weekend edition of Good Morning America on ABC.

Tom Rinaldi: Rinaldi is a weekly contributor to College GameDay, and serves as a sideline reporter for some of college football's biggest games, including the Rose Bowl and the national championship. He is part of ESPN's golf coverage at the Masters as an interviewer and essayist. He has done play-by-play at Wimbledon, the Australian Open and the US Open. His feature stories are a staple on SportsCenter, E:60, and SCFeatured.

Jeremy Schaap: Schaap is one of ESPN's preeminent journalists, as a senior news correspondent and host contributing to E:60, SportsCenter, Outside the Lines and other studio programs. He is also the host of E:60. Additionally, Schaap is the host of the award-winning weekly radio show and podcast The Sporting Life and anchors ESPN's coverage at the Olympics.

Bob Woodruff: Woodruff has covered major national and international stories for ABC News since 1996. After being named co-anchor of World News Tonight in December 2005, Woodruff was seriously injured by a roadside bomb that struck his vehicle while reporting in Iraq in January 2006. In 2007, Woodruff returned to ABC and discussed his traumatic brain injury and his recovery, as well as the plight of thousands of service members returning from Iraq and Afghanistan with similar injuries.
