Los Angeles (August 29, 2016) - Can you guess that TV show? It's funny. Unpredictable. Hosted by Craig Ferguson. It's garnered two consecutive Daytime Emmy(R) wins for Outstanding Game Show Host. That's right, it's Celebrity Name Game! This hilarious game show returns for its third season on Monday, September 19, 2016 (check local listings). The syndicated, half-hour weekday strip is executive produced by Courteney Cox and David Arquette.

Fast-paced and funny, Celebrity Name Game pairs celebrities with contestants as they improvise clues to identify as many correct answers as possible in a given time period. The answers aren't just celebrity names but range from actors, singers, athletes and pop culture figures to places, brands, books, TV shows, movies, food and even cartoon characters. Consisting of two competitive speed rounds, followed by a third round where Craig Ferguson provides the clues, teams must face a broad mix of clues and categories with the winning team earning a chance to win $20,000 in the final round!

"I love hosting Celebrity Name Game, not to mention a Daytime Emmy(R) for every season so far - although I guess I did just mention it. I'm genuinely thrilled that the show is back for a third season. I have so much fun playing the game and giving away other peoples' money," said Craig Ferguson.

In only its second season, Celebrity Name Game has now tied long-running game show Who Wants to be a Millionaire in households and has surpassed it in the coveted women 25-54 demo. The game show has been upgraded in New York on Tribune Media's flagship station, WPIX, from 4pm to 6:30pm. Plus, host Craig Ferguson is the only host to have won a Daytime Emmy(R) for "Outstanding Game Show Host" consecutively in its first two seasons!

Guest stars for the 2016/17 season include executive producers Courteney Cox and David Arquette, along with Lance Bass (NSYNC), Rachel Bloom (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), Julie Chen (The Talk), Kevin Frazier (Entertainment Tonight), Billy Bush (Today Show), Taye Diggs (Rosewood), Debbie Gibson (pop icon), Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Franklin & Bash), Bryshere "Yazz" Gray (Empire), Kit Hoover (Access Hollywood), Lisa Kudrow (The Comeback), Ricki Lake (The Ricki Lake Show), Mario Lopez (Extra), Ross Mathews (Hollywood Today Live), AJ McLean (The Backstreet Boys), Breckin Meyer (Franklin & Bash), Daphne Oz (The Chew), Adam Rodriguez (Jane The Virgin), Aisha Tyler (The Talk), Sheryl Underwood (The Talk), Weird Al Yankovic (Comedy Bang! Bang!), and many more!

Celebrity Name Game is co-produced by FremantleMedia North America and Debmar-Mercury, and is distributed domestically by Debmar-Mercury and internationally by FremantleMedia North America. The show was developed by Courteney Cox and David Arquette's Coquette Productions, along with Laura Robinson and Richard Gerrits' Out & About Productions, based on the popular board game Identity Crisis. In addition to Cox and Arquette, executive producers include Fremantle's Jennifer Mullin, showrunner Scott St. John, John Quinn, Robinson and Gerrits.
